Brian Elworthy is the General Counsel at Toast, a role he has held since 2016. In this role, he leads the legal, compliance and government affairs functions of the company. Brian began his legal career at Ropes & Gray, spending six years practicing in the firm's corporate department. Before joining Toast, Brian served as Assistant General Counsel of a global services and solutions provider to the life sciences industry. He earned his J.D. from Georgetown University Law School and his B.A. from Middlebury College.
